Europe 1444 map - A1

This map depicts Europe at 1444, after the Battle of Varna, or put simply the starting date of the "Europa Universalis IV" game.

The country colors are similar to ones in the game, albeit some countries have colors changed, some completely to better depict their historical connections based on my taste.

The map is printed in two passes, first the base map in matt and then text and hundreds of shields in gloss giving an interest effect when looking at it at an angle or with good lighting.

It is printed on 170 g/sqm double sided silk uv paper, using an industrial UV printer, Canon Colorado M5.

This is size DIN A1, 841 mm x 594 mm, which is equivalent to 33.1 x 23.4 inches. DIN A1 - the smaller version of the map, designed to be hung as more of a decorative element to your room, looks just as good just that you will see the tiny letters squiggled across the map but won't be able to read them.

just as good as A0/B0 sizes as background decor, not as good for staring and exploring..
